Bobcats For Sale

Many people use the brand name "Bobcat" to refer to the entire class of machines within the skid steer family.

The Bobcat is the chameleon of small machine equipment with its maneuverability, compact size, and ability to easily switch among a huge range of different attachments.

For anyone who works in general construction, landscaping, manufacturing, recycling, and many other industries, the Bobcat is a must-have piece of machinery.

With its skid steer loader frame, the Bobcat is built on four wheels set very closely together enabling it to turn on the radius of its own track marks, much like a tank.  And for anyone who has ever maneuvered one, they will tell you the Bobcat is the tank of small machine equipment.  Skid steers can completely turn around within their own length.

Serious skid steer buyers will want to take the following buyer factors into consideration when purchasing a Bobcat:

1. Physical size.  Be sure to purchase a Bobcat that will fit into your garage, warehouse or through any gates or fence line boundaries.  Typical skid steers range in width from about 3' to over 6', while heights are usually between 5' and 7'.

2. Lifting capacity.  Also known as operating capacity, lifting capacity is important when determining the strength and ability of the machine to carry heavy loads.  Some Bobcats models are more suitable for larger carry loads and lifting capacity.

3. Dumping Height.  Dumping height can range from around 8' on smaller models to over 10' on larger models.  Be sure to know the dumping height requirements of your work before making a Bobcat purchase.
