National Crane
National Crane started out as a small family business in 1945, and has since grown to be one of the largest crane companies in the world. In fact, an estimated 90% of the over 30,000 cranes that national has sold since 1963 are still in use today, showing the brand’s durability and dependability. National Crane specializes in truck-mounted hydraulic cranes and has three main lines:
- Telescoping Cranes with Stand Up Controls. National Crane offers eight different models ranging from 8 to 33 ton capacity and 56 to 167 ft maximum reach.
- Telescoping Cranes with Swing Seat Controls. National Crane makes four models, from 30 to 40 ton capacity and 161 to 176 ft maximum reach.
- Articulating Cranes. National has eight models of articulating cranes, ranging in capacity from 4 to 11 tons and 46.5 to 70.4 ft maximum reach.
One benefit to National cranes is that all of them are street legal. Like most manufacturers, National Crane sells its machinery through dealers. You can use the dealership locator on National’s website to find the vendor nearest you.
Here are some interesting tips about National cranes:
- National Crane has a service and support program, Manitowoc Crane CARE, which provides around-the-clock training, service, and assistance.
- National Crane is a part of the Manitowoc Crane Group, along with Grove, Manitowoc, and Potain.
Since National cranes are truck-mounted, they are quite mobile, but they can’t lift as much as other cranes, such as crawler cranes. Continue browsing our website to learn about all of your crane options and find the one that is best suited to your circumstances!
